A new church consulting training group started this week with 14 participating from the Churches of Christ in Victoria and Tasmania and the Baptist Union of Victoria. We had a couple of sunny but cool days at the Salesian Retreat Centre in Lysterfield to get the course underway. Participants in the training program can access the Course Notes and also the Consultancy Group Resources site using their login information.
Access to John Mark Ministries Training Notes and Resources
There are three separate locations where John Mark Ministries Resources can be accessed and information found.
This site contains notes from seminars and training workshops Tim leads or speaks at from time to time. The links to notes are kept live on the site for 4-5 weeks following a training session or conference.
The session notes from our major training programs like Mentor Equipping, Church Consultancy, Parish Recovery and Conflict Managment are all held on the Google Groups site which is interactive and allows for assignments and communication. Tim will have approved your email for this site at the training program group you are involved in. If you need assistance with this, email patricia@johnmark.net.au
Besides training notes, Tim uses many resources which are available to give out to mentorees or to use in mentoring, consulting, facilitating and managing. These resources are also linked to Google Group Sites which allow you also to upload resources you have found helpful. Again these sites are restricted to trainees in our programs.
To access these sites you need a Google account, which can be set up as you link to the site through our links column. You need to use your email address on our contacts sheet for your google username. All the best. Again let Patricia know if you have difficulties.
