Punchbowl Christian Centre

June 27, 2010 By: tim Category: Bible teaching, john mark ministries Comments Off

I enjoyed spending the morning with friends at Punchbowl Christian Centre on Sunday. As part of the church’s “My place in God’s space” series we looked at the nature of Spiritual Gifts and their use for God’s kingdom. In this session we unpacked the New Testament teaching on “charismata” or grace gifts. I suggested that it is most important to be open to the Giver -God, and open to where and how God’s grace might flow through our lives to others. Rather than seeking out specific gifts, maybe the challenge is to find the areas in which God’s grace flowing through us impacts the lives of others for their growth.
