Accessing your Training group’s Google Groups Site

All of our training course notes and resources are linked to Google Groups sites.

Follow these steps to get access to your group.

Option 1 – Easiest

1. If you have a google account – send me an email with your username and I will activate the group for you and send you a link.
2. If you don’t have a google account set one up here. Its free.
   Use your current email address as your sign-in and send me an email tim@johnmark.net.au letting me know.  I will activate the group site and send you a link.

   It is a good idea to bookmark the site so you can find it again easily.

Option 2 –

1. On this site…
2. Look on the right hand side under Recent Events and locate the entry for the training event you are part of. Click on this event.
3. An entry should come up in the centre of the website with a link to and the name of the group. Click on Visit this group.

1. This will take you to Google Groups and to the correct group. If you are not automatically logged in then this means that either you do not yet have a google account or you haven’t signed in. Click on any of the options on this page.
2. On the next page locate the “Sign In” and “Create an Account” box
3. If you already have a google account (If you use Gmail or the IGoogle home page you have an account), sign in using the top box. If not click the “Create an Account” and set one up.
4. Go to the google group site above (same as “Visit this Group”) and apply for membership. You will get an email from me when I have approved your membership. The next time you sign in the group should automatically open for you.
