I always enjoy the first training day of a new EPIC (Enabling Priests in Charge) cycle. It was great to listen to the wide range of self-care strategies already in place for clergy and to help them reflect on additional strategies. I enjoyed hearing Grant Bickerton present his research findings yet again.
Following the combined conference with the Diocese of Adelaide, I spent this afternoon working with clergy from the Diocese of Willochra looking specifically at change management. The powerpoint displays below.
I have had some feedback about a recent article in the Melbourne Anglican based on three sessions I did at the Eastern Region Conference. A link to the article is posted below.
Merran and I are enjoying a visit to Mauritius at the invitation of the Anglican Diocese to run a week long seminar on self care, health and leadership development for clergy and spouses of several denominations on the Island.
We are meeting at Le Thabor, a Catholic Retreat and Training Centre which was one of the old colonial mansions previously called the White Tower.

I enjoyed the opportunity to meet with 22 facilitators of Focus on Ministry retreats in Sydney on Monday. I love the Telford site at Port Hacking, sunny and relaxing looking out over the water. This year we covered Pastoral Review Processes, Understanding Church systems, Empowering Leadership and some new research on Burnout.
