Baptist Union of NSW and ACT–Church Consultancy Training – November 2010
Workshop 6 in our Church Consultancy Training program covered issues do with governance in local churches and in Christian organisations. After looking at the principles of governance, we reflected on the implications of the popular Carver model for churches. Governance and church size were looked at along with principles for balancing executive leadership and governance in local churches.
I have been notified by Google that as of January our Google Groups site will be unable to provide the services we need. So from this workshop I am in the process of moving all information over to a new Google Site.
Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney–Parish Recovery Teams
Tim enjoyed catching up with both the new team and a number of our existing Parish Recovery team members in Sydney on Wednesday. The training covered the final tasks of the Crisis Phase of Recovery – Report Writing , Pastoral Care and establishing the recovery Oversight Group.
