I appreciated the invitation to address a group of Salvation Army officers from the Southern Region meeting for their five year review conference. The chosen topic was Difficult Conversations. Enjoyed catching up with the Salvation Army officers at our favourite Bass Highway Cafe in Elizabeth Town. This month we looked at managing challenging conversations.
Great to have the day with officers and staff managers of the Tasmanian Salvation Army in Hobart on Thursday. As part of their Leadership and Management Training Program (LaMP) we explored the dynamics of Difficult Conversations.

The first cluster meeting for 2011 took place at ETC today. As well as sketching out the topics to be covered this year, we spent some time reflection on Luke 9 and looked at self care strategies in Christian leadership.
