I enjoyed catching up with many friends at Pathway to Life church in Devonport on Sunday. Great to see the church exploring spirituality and life issues for Men in their current series. I shared some reflections on a study of male spirituality conducted in the last 5 years.
Another wet day for the Northern Cluster of Salvation Army Officers on Thursday. This time we had road closures to deal with due to heavy rain. Today’s session was on Power in Ministry and we explored the dynamics of power for clergy and also how power operates in congregational life. Notes are attached.
I enjoyed catching up with clergy at a Diocesan Professional Development day on Clergy Wellbeing in Traralgon. We explored issues around church systems, power dynamics in parishes and self care strategies for clergy. Notes from the presentations and brainstorms are included below.

It was good to spend another sunny day in Sydney working with the Presbyterian Consultancy Team looking at Conflict Dynamics, Triangulation and Systems Theory in consulting. Notes are all up to date in our Dropbox folders.
