Great to be back at the Venue Bellambi for another training residential for the PCA team in NSW. We looked at rural church consultancies, models of church health, supervision in consultancies and issues in conflict management. It was great to be present to catch up on the research on team ministry and also the review of our consultancy training. Notes are in our team dropbox.
It was great to spend the day with a the Salvation Army team in the north. We welcomed two couples new to the officer team on the Coast and caught up with other officers who will continue their service here this year. We will be working through a range of leadership development tools and processes this year. We began with an introduction to connecting to rural communities.
I have worked with several groups over the last couple of weeks where the issue of delegation has arisen. Here is a link to a summary version of the five levels of delegation.
Having just come back from the Safe as Churches conference and assisted two different Christian organisations with Safe Ministry process in the last two weeks, I thought I would put pen to paper or fingers to keys and get a simple overview document together for organisations who need to work this issue through.
