Tim enjoyed meeting from Monday to Wednesday with the Victorian facilitators of Renewal Retreats for men and women in Christian ministry. During this session we concluded the Google Group for Retreat Facilitators and started a new resource and networking site with ning.com. Notes from all the training sessions are being linked to the site.
The Group A New South Wales team hosted by International Teams enjoyed a solid training day on Thursday 2nd July. We looked at Titus and covered a range of leadership development areas for mentorees including delegation and the five practices of effective leadership. Notes from the workshop are now on the MEQ NSW Google Groups site and the resources are on the Mentor Exchange.
Tim enjoyed three days in Bendigo along with some very welcome rain at the Diocese of Melbourne Ministry Conference. He was asked to facilitate some discussion on changes in professional ministry. The Powerpoint Presentation from Tim’s session can be accessed. A download will be activated later this week.
For the second training day this year, (no 6 overall) the churches of christ conference consultancy team concentrated mainly on conflict resolution strategies. Members looked at assessment processes and interpersonal reconciliation. The website resources for the specialist consultancy areas have been updated. Please use the links below for access.

Despite the “severe weather warning” for Tuesday, I was able to make it to and from Melbourne and enjoyed the EPIC (Priests in Charge) training day in Carlton at St Michaels with the Anglican Diocese. This was the first training day of a new round of seminars and it was great to catch up with some from last year and some new ministers joining the training this year. I used a couple of powerpoints which are connected to this site as flash presentations and some notes which are printable using the iPaper icon on your browser.
