Australian Mentoring Network Conference 2012

It was great to unwind from a busy week at the Australian Mentoring Network Conference at Stanwell Tops on Thursday and Friday.  I enjoyed the input from Les Scarborough and from Mindy Caliguire  (Willow Creek’s Spiritual Formation program).

A range of Les’ materials are also available on John Mark Ministries Mentor Exchange website.

Mindy has some of her teaching available on You Tube.  She covered the second session on the leaders soul in Sydney last week.

Facilitation Skills Training – Workshop 11 for the Baptist Union of NSW Church Consultancy Team

A beautiful day in Sydney (while I hear it was raining and cold in Tassie) for our second last workshop in the Church Consultancy Training Program for the Baptist Union of NSW and ACT. It was good to debrief a couple of completed consultancies and to talk through some facilitation techniques. Dropbox files are updated and I have added a couple of documents discussed in training today.

Accreditation of nine Parish Recovery Consultancy Team members for the Anglican Diocese of Sydney

It is always a bit sad to say goodbye to a team of consultants I have been training, sometimes for several years. It was like this today in Sydney seeing nine new team members complete their training and farewelling others I have worked with for 6 years. Thanks for the cake and parting gift. It is good to reflect on the capacity that is now in place largely due to the commitment and advocacy of the original Tamar group and many survivors of Clergy misconduct who have worked for education, awareness and new levels of care for everyone impacted these events.
