I am enjoying catching up with friends at the CMA Conference in Melbourne. Here are links to my elective presentation for this afternoon.
The Safe as Churches conference run by the National Council of Churches is a bi-annual event which brings together practitioners who work in the areas of preventing and responding to child sexual abuse within churches.
Again this year we had a great conference with a variety of presenters covering some important areas.

I enjoyed meeting the Arrow 17 cohort today in Melbourne and spending three sessions together on conflict management. Links to notes and resources from today’s session follow here.

It was great to spend another day with managers and officers of the Salvation Army Southern District working on the dynamics and skills involved in Difficult Conversations. The notes from our sessions are linked below.

I enjoyed being back at Glen Waverley Anglican Church today for this year’s first EPIC training day on Health in Ministry. It was good to catch up with EPIC participants I met last year, meet the new members and also connect with other priests I have met before in conferences and seminars.
We spend the day exploring dynamics of ministry, all of which have implications for self care and ongoing formation. The notes from the presentations and some additional materials are linked below.
