It was great to be back at SBMC for my annual lecture on Conflict Management in the Church. I enjoyed interacting with this year’s class on Pastoral Care and discussing issues to do with conflict. We covered a range of topics including conflict mapping, unique features of conflict and Jesus teaching in Matt 18.

I appreciated the invitation to address a group of Salvation Army officers from the Southern Region meeting for their five year review conference. The chosen topic was Difficult Conversations. It was great to work with a group of Baptist and Churches of Christ pastors this morning in Wantira at Grace Church. We explored a range of topics related to staying healthy in pastoral ministry. The notes and our brainstorms are listed below. I have added a handout I often give out in sessions like this.
Great to have a relaxing day catching up with members of the Pastor to Pastors and Church Health Teams from the Churches of Christ around the country at Stanwell Tops.
