Tim led a training day this week for the Intentional Interim Ministry training group for the Diocese of Melbourne on Parish Recovery. The day included 5 workshops. An introductory session briefly covered trauma in congregations. There was major sessions on assessment, an overview of the recovery process, pastoral care strategies and corporate strategies for healing. Ground rules for conflict is a resource that can be given to people prior to mediation or an open discussion.
Covenant Commitments in Times of Disagreement is a Biblically based resource which is very useful for handing out when conflict is on the horizen. It is also useful in training to prepare for conflict.
Dealing with Difficult People – Conflict Styles is a powerpoint presentation you are welcome to use in any non-commercial environment e.g. to train team members in your local parish.
Styles of Conflict Management is some supporting material I use in teaching.
Safe as Churches Conference
Over March 1-3 in Canberra, Tim led a plenary session and workshop at the Safe as Churches III conference. There have been a number of requests for this material to be kept available so it has been reloaded to the website and will be kept public until August.
