Salvation Army Cluster–November Meeting
We held our final meeting for the year at ETC this morning. Building on last session we spent some time in discussion and bible study on the Holy Spirit. We looked at some principles articulated by Gordon Fee in God’s Empowering Presence.
After planning our Layered Learning Event for this weekend, we looked at Building Spiritual Resilience.
Blue Mountains Mission Area–Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney
Great to spend the day in Lawson in the Blue Mountains with Anglican church leaders from Lithgow to Glenbrook. We reflected on a passage from Ephesians 4 and then explored Emotional and Social Intelligence and Teamwork in Ministry. The notes and presentations from today are attached below:

SMBC–Conflict in the Church–Pastoral Care Guest Lecture
It was great to be back at SBMC for my annual lecture on Conflict Management in the Church. I enjoyed interacting with this year’s class on Pastoral Care and discussing issues to do with conflict. We covered a range of topics including conflict mapping, unique features of conflict and Jesus teaching in Matt 18.
