It is always encouraging to have a couple of days listening to the journeys of Ministry Renewal Retreat Facilitators. This week I enjoyed the opportunity to work with around 35 facilitators for Presbyterian Pastors, Clergy Spouses and Women in Ministry groups from NSW, QLD, ViC and SA.

With our current Royal Commission in Australia, Safe Ministry is a critically important topic for all churches. I am happy to be working with the Churches of Christ Conference of Victoria and Tasmania on Safe Ministry practices for local churches.

On the 6th September, I was able to work alongside John Morse from Tabor College and participate in the layered learning evens for the Salvation Army in Tasmania. Last Saturday, the teaching program was repeated in Launceston. I integrated John’s teaching into my own presentation for the second session as John was unable to be present. Notes referred to, video links and brainstorms are all following in this post.
