Presbyterian Churches of Australia NSW Consultancy Training Day
On Thursday 6 August, Tim enjoyed a solid training day with the PCA consultancy team in Sydney. Topics covered included a brief introduction to clergy burnout, an introduction to church systems, consultancy processes for trauma situations in churches, and some foundational work on Emotional Intelligence. Renewal Retreat Facilitators Training Victoria
Tim enjoyed meeting from Monday to Wednesday with the Victorian facilitators of Renewal Retreats for men and women in Christian ministry. During this session we concluded the Google Group for Retreat Facilitators and started a new resource and networking site with ning.com. Notes from all the training sessions are being linked to the site.
Mentor Equipping New South Wales Workshop 8
The Group A New South Wales team hosted by International Teams enjoyed a solid training day on Thursday 2nd July. We looked at Titus and covered a range of leadership development areas for mentorees including delegation and the five practices of effective leadership. Notes from the workshop are now on the MEQ NSW Google Groups site and the resources are on the Mentor Exchange.
