I enjoyed a couple of days in Sydney with the Presbyterian Church Consultancy Team. We looked at team and governance consultancies, supervision in church consultancy, and responding to churches who are navigating conflict.
The consultancy team Drobox has been updated with new resources.
It was great to spend the morning with 35 Executive Staff of Flinders Christian Community College. We explored Interpersonal Conflict Styles and Having Difficult Conversations.

It was great to be back at the Tops (Stanwell Tops Conference Centre) for PCA NSW SRG facilitators training after being on zoom last year. Keen group of 25 or so facilitators of groups sponsored by Mission and Ministry. Lots of reflection this year on how valuable this ministry is to both men and women in ministry and for clergy spouses.
Luke and I enjoyed working with 30 of the Church Health Consultancy Team members for the Baptist Association of NSW and ACT. Today’s specialist training involved reflecting on issues that arise in consultancies around Governance and Leadership.
Our workshop included several case studies and discussions of the roles of elders and leaders in spiritual oversight and corporate governance. We looked at levels of delegation. the challenges of founder’s syndrome and various models of church governance.
