Training Workshop 9 in this program was held on Wednesday 14 May at West Concord and covered an extended overview of the whole recovery process, a number of final reports for parishes and some specific training and resourcing in mediation skills. Notes are on the Parish Recovery Google Groups website with a link to some conflict resources. Further information is here for any having difficulties connecting to the site.
Tim enjoyed catching up with the new Victorian Coaching Team on Tuesday May 13 in Melbourne. The day covered a more detailed outline of the standard coaching process, case studies on two current consultancies and some further clarification of diagnostic tools and processes. The notes from the training day are stored on the Church Health Coaching Google Groups site. If you are having trouble accessing this please follow these instructions.
Several organisations have approached John Mark Ministries over the last couple of weeks for advice on a Biblical and practical mediation process. I have included an outline here and links to a couple of handouts I use in mediating.
It was great to be back at Philip Is for the final residential of our Victorian Training Program with CBFV. Over four days we refined and integrated our mentoring skills and gathered a range of resources for ongoing mentoring. Again the training notes are organised under each training objective on the MOODLE site and resources are accessed from the Mentor Exchange.
