Pastors Renewal Retreats Victoria – Facilitators Training

Pastors Renewal Retreats Pastors Renewal Retreats began in Victoria under the leadership of Les Scarborough in 1997. There is now an inter-denominational oversight group who are involved in training and supporting facilitators for these retreats. Tim spent some time with the leadership at their last training retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and reflected with them on training needs and facilitation resources. A new google group site has been set up as a result to share resources and connect facilitators together.

John Mark Ministries Websites Access Instructions

John Mark Ministries Tasmania operates a number of websites serving different purposes.

The site on which this ‘post’ is kept is the general information web log (blog) that Tim uses to give people who have attended seminars access to training materials.  There are no actual documents or resources kept on this website.  No passwords are required to access the site.  Links to training materials are activated for a period of a month or so following each training event.    Most documents are fed to the site on demand in flash format from a separate storage site.  These documents can be viewed and printed but not usually saved.

Training Course Notes for Major Training Programs

For Mentoring Training, Consultancy Training and Facilitation Training, copies of all training course notes that relate specifically to the skills and knowledge required for the Course are kept on our MOODLE site. This site is secure and Tim sets the original password for each person who is enrolled in a training program. If you are not able to access this site or have lost your login details, ask Tim or Patricia via email for your username. This can be sent out and your password reset. On entering this site, you will be automatically logged into the course you are registered for.

Resources

Tim provides a wide range of resources in training mentors, leaders, facilitators and consultants. These are provided via Google Group sites, one group site for each type of training program. Participants can also upload their own resources to share. Access to the Google Groups site for your course is by logging into Google with a free Google account (this general account gives you access to gmail, calendars and other google services etc). Use your own email address as the ‘username’ when you set up this account or let Tim or Patricia know the gmail username you have created.  When you follow the links to the Mentor Exchange, Faciliators Training, Consultancy and Coaching Training sites, you will be asked to sign in with your google account, and then the group will open and you can contribute and download what you need.  If the group site refuses you entry, your username address has not be registered by Tim or Patricia, please let us know your correct details.
